“When Park Grove Pet Hospital says ‘Pets are family, too!’ they really mean it! I know I can trust everyone with my babies because they listen carefully to my concerns and truly care for my animals.”

Modern Veterinary Facility, Compassionate Care, Decades of Experience: Park Grove Pet Hospital

Park Grove Pet Hospital's History

Park Grove Pet Hospital has been serving Cottage Grove and the surrounding communities since 1972, when it was established by Dr. Richard McConnell.

Dr. Dan Cederstrom joined the one-doctor practice in 1992 as an associate veterinarian. Over time, he developed a strong bond with the practice and its clients and eventually took ownership of the practice from Dr. McConnell in 2001.

Park Grove Pet Hospital has been through many changes in the past 39 years. A new facility was built in 2003 in response to Cottage Grove’s economic redevelopment plan and Dr. Cederstrom’s goal of housing the practice in a larger, more modern facility. The current hospital is a 4,500-square-foot space with numerous windows to let in natural light, a warm and welcoming lobby, a large surgical suite, four exam rooms, and a consultation room.

The goal of Park Grove Pet Hospital is to provide high quality medicine delivered with compassionate care. Our four veterinarians and fourteen support staff members look forward to serving you and your family for many years to come.
