Veterinary Diagnostics and Treatment
A critical element in veterinary care is the ability to determine the source of an animal’s disease. Finding a correct diagnosis requires a strong knowledge base, an understanding of animal behavior, and the tools to assist in this process.
At Park Grove Pet Hospital, our highly trained and experienced professionals have decades of veterinary experience. This is combined with advanced diagnostic equipment to meet your pet care needs.
A well-equipped veterinary laboratory allows us to run tests on the premises, for accuracy and rapid response. Radiology, ultrasonography, and echocardiography allow us to see deep inside the animal, identifying such issues as injuries, masses, and developing diseases.
Treatment begins when a diagnosis is confirmed—our veterinary diagnostics allow us to manage routine and critical patients in house, initiating treatments in a timely manner.
For pets that require hospitalization, our inpatient treatment area offers intravenous fluid therapy and medications, blood pressure and pulse oximetry monitoring, oxygen therapy, and pain management. These treatment services are critical for seriously ill patients.
Park Grove Pet Hospital has a fully equipped veterinary laboratory to maximize our patient care. We perform on-site bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal examinations as well as microbiology and cytology. We also offer routine and contrast X-ray service and ophthalmic and dermatologic tests.
Our diagnostic technology includes a radiology department for standard and dental X-rays. We have regular access to board-certified radiologists for consultation, ultrasonography, and echocardiography.
In addition to our own highly-trained and experienced veterinarians, we access additional specialists in the region for certain types of pet diseases. Should you and your Park Grove veterinarian decide that further expertise would be beneficial, we have well-established relationships with the following specialists:
