Dr. Elizabeth (Ellie) Bodnar
DVMDr. Ellie grew up in Minnesota and completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She then continued her studies at the University of Saskatchewan, Western College of Veterinary Medicine graduating with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2025.
Dr. Ellie spent her early childhood caring for her stuffed cocker spaniel. She further fostered her love and care of animals by asking her family veterinarian endless questions during every visit. She impatiently counted the days until she turned 12 and could start volunteering at the clinic, but her family moved to Stillwater, MN before she got the chance.
Once in Stillwater she was thrilled to learn their new neighbor was a vet at Park Grove. The team at PGPH were so welcoming and even encouraged Dr. Ellie to work at the clinic between her years of study.
Dr. Ellie has a special interest in providing fear free and cooperative care to her patients. Her passions in medicine include behavioral management, dermatology, and internal medicine. She enjoys working with pet owners to establish the best wellness and treatment plans for each patient.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ellie enjoys aerial sports, running, hiking, and adopting plants. Her support team at home includes her cat (Cricket), dog (Myrtle), and her husband, Jay.
